A regional pharmaceutical distributor completes an SAP HANA installation rehearsal for a new on-premises administration environment. The installer reports completion, and the database can be started. During validation, SAP HANA cockpit shows the system as available, but the operations checklist shows that the database explorer connection was created using a temporary validation name instead of the final administration naming standard. The infrastructure team wants to accept the environment because the connection works.
The constraint is that the administrator must confirm a handover-ready installation, including administration evidence that will remain usable after acceptance. The team must not rely on a temporary validation artifact as the final operational reference.
What should the administrator do before accepting the installation handover?

• A. efer connection naming cleanup until the first production monitoring cycle confirms database availability.
• B. ename the administration evidence in the checklist only, without changing the actual database explorer connection.
• C. ccept the installation because the database starts and the temporary database explorer connection works.
• D. reate and verify the final database explorer connection using the approved administration naming standard, then repeat validation.

A regional facilities management company runs SAP HANA for service request analytics. After a planned restart, SAP HANA cockpit shows the database as available, but a scheduled administrative validation script fails because it references a configuration profile that was renamed during the maintenance window. Manual checks from the cockpit succeed, so the service coordinator wants to close the restart activity.
The constraint is that the administrator must prove scheduled administration will execute correctly after the restart. The validation must address the renamed configuration reference rather than relying only on manual tool access.
What should the administrator do before closing the restart activity?

• A. eboot the database again so the scheduled script can rediscover the renamed configuration profile automatically.
• B. lose the restart activity because manual SAP HANA cockpit checks show that the database is available.
• C. eplace the scheduled script with manual cockpit checks until the next maintenance window.
• D. pdate and verify the scheduled validation reference to the renamed configuration profile, then rerun the administrative script.

A subscription billing company uses SAP HANA for scheduled revenue analysis. Users report that one recurring analysis job finishes later than expected, but interactive checks remain responsive. SAP HANA cockpit shows no database outage, while monitoring history shows that the late job overlaps with a planned administrative task and a short period of increased CPU utilization. The support team suggests changing the job owner because the job still completes successfully.
The constraint is that the administrator must identify whether the delay is caused by workload timing or an execution access problem before making a change. The next scheduled run must remain within the reporting window.
Which response best addresses the delayed execution?

• A. hange the job owner immediately because delayed completion indicates an authorization problem.
• B. estart the database before the next run so background execution begins from a clean runtime state.
• C. ccept the current schedule because successful completion proves that the reporting window is protected.
• D. eview the job timing against the administrative task and CPU history, then adjust scheduling or workload placement if the overlap is confirmed.

<strong>CHALLENGE 1 &#x2014; Cutover Configuration Evidence Traceability</strong> The cutover coordinator wants to use the first comparison because carrier exception reports opened successfully. The database team later confirms that the upgraded distribution system&#x2019;s administration record does not reflect the configuration state used during testing. Which decision best supports release-quality evidence?

• A. se the comparison because report opening is sufficient evidence for release support.
• B. eplace the upgraded system record with the SAP HANA Cloud provisioning record.
• C. reat the missing configuration evidence as unrelated because cutover testing focuses on reporting access.
• D. pdate the administration record and reassess the cutover comparison against the confirmed state.

<strong>CHALLENGE 2 &#x2014; Outage Analytics Monitoring Baseline</strong> Early-morning incident simulation reports showed variable response time, and the operations lead requests tuning before the next service review. The monitoring baseline has not been fully captured, and some thresholds still reflect the pre-hypercare reporting profile. What should the database owner do first?

• A. apture the current monitoring baseline and validate threshold relevance before tuning.
• B. pply tuning immediately because outage analytics affects service operations readiness.
• C. ove the tuning decision to SAP HANA Cloud because future analytics may migrate there.
• D. isable incident simulation alerts so the next review focuses only on report completion.
